lol, I remember you talking about your dad's obesssion with Catan back in June. I've had the game on my 360 for a while but haven't gotten around to playing it online, probably because I'd get my ass kicked...the computer does it enough for me. But props to your dad, that's hardcore.
Additional note: this is only for RANKED gameplay. My dad still loses to the Difficult A.I. because they won't trade with him after 5 points. And the two games he's played against me in "friendly" mode? I whooped up on him. :)

That is some seriously impressive obsession. I'm convinced OCD is not a disease, but a blessing from heaven. Just look at all the successful people you know...well maybe not necessarilly "successful" but who have ever accomplished anything worth talking about.
I guess it's why he's such a good salesman, putting his mind to making people happy before and after a sale. My only obsession is Halo 3, but I don't think that's taking me to the top of anything. :/

My dad only likes Brunwick Pro Bowling on the Wii. He'll keep me updated on his progress while I tell him about Guitar Hero, but I don't think he's setting any world records on it. Catan's a pretty popular game though. I'd have to assume that there are tournaments out there. Your dad ever try to make some cash off of his obsession.
