it's messy because i don't keep stuff there that i need to find. it's all downloads, or things i was trying to move from the server to a folder and needed a temporary place to put it.

i wouldn't read too much into my desktop. it's a dumping ground for things i don't use. for example, my porn collection is the most organized folder on my mac.
