wish you would have linked a larger image

The blur on the background houses might just cost you the win, if I had any say in judging. It just seems ever so slightly lazy.

If you took off the blur effect I think the whole piece would be one of the best submissions so far.

Wish the file sizes were bigger.

Love your stuff, you'd do an amazing job making background images for Flash games and movies. My only complaint is that the full size images should be much, much bigger so we could appreciate them more.

Not bad. Clever use of photo in an illustration. Could use a little more detail in the illustrated part. I know you're going for a certain stylistic look here, but you could still stand a few more details in the face and skin more along the lines of what you did with the pant details: some symbols that better break up the areas without any detail.
